This notice advises and allows for public comment on the identified uses for the State of Michigan’s allocation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the non-entitlement Community Development Block Grant-Recovery program identified as CDBG-R grant.

The CDBG-R grant is a supplemental appropriation. As such, HUD is treating the state’s use of the CDBG-R grant to be a supplemental amendment to its current approved consolidated plan and program year 2008 action plan. Thus, our requirement is to ensure citizen participation on the specific use of the funds.
